Abbott, Simses & Kuchler is pleased to announce that Charles Abbott, Janika Polk and Jon Vicklund have been elected as shareholders. Charles Abbott is a shareholder in the New Orleans office. He practices in the areas of general civil, toxic tort, and environmental litigation. Mr. Abbott received his J.D. and B.C.L.S. from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2002, and his B.A., cum laude, from Millsaps College in 1999. Janika Polk is a shareholder in the New Orleans office. She practices in the areas of toxic tort and products liability litigation, class action defense, and employment law. Ms. Polk received her J.D., cum laude, from Southern University Law Center in 2001, and her B.S. from Louisiana State University in 1998. Jon Vicklund is a shareholder in the Houston office. He practices in the areas of toxic tort, mass tort and asbestos defense, products liability, commercial and environmental litigation. Mr. Vicklund received his J.D. from South Texas College of Law in 1994, and his B.B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin in 1989.
