Abbott, Simses & Kuchler, Its DuPont Silica Litigation Team, and Specifically, Charles Abbott, Receive DuPont's "Meeting the Challenge"

Abbott, Simses & Kuchler is pleased to announce that it has received E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company Legal's 2005 "Meeting the Challenge" Award at DuPont's Primary Law Firm Annual Meeting in Wilmington, Delaware.    

The award was announced by DuPont Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer, Stacey Mobley. According to Mr. Mobley, this award recognizes that Abbott, Simses & Kuchler "has distinguished itself as one of the best among an already elite group of DuPont Primary Law Firms and Service Providers."

Additionally, Mr. Mobley also noted that DuPont recognized Abbott, Simses & Kuchler "for its sustained contributions to the DuPont Legal Model," and in particular, "for its collaborative spirit with other DuPont primary law firms and positive case results in the area of silica litigation."

Abbott, Simses & Kuchler's DuPont Silica team is led by Charles Abbott, a shareholder in the New Orleans office.

Only eight of DuPont's forty-two Primary Law Firms were recognized with a 2005 Challenge Award. Abbott, Simses & Kuchler is DuPont's only law firm in Louisiana and Mississippi.

Hebert Law Center in 2002, and his B.A., cum laude, from Millsaps College in 1999.
