Charles Abbott Gives Presentation to Louisiana Judicial College and Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel
On December 7, 2007, Charles Abbott, shareholder in the New Orleans office, gave two (2) separate presentations entitled "Salient Issues Regarding Electronic Discovery" to the Louisiana Judicial College and the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, respectively, at the Windsor Court in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Mr. Abbott and Vince Catanzaro, Esquire, of E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company, gave both presentations together. The presentations addressed how the Federal and Louisiana Rules of Civil Procedure compared and differed regarding electronic discovery, as well as focused on emerging electronic discovery issues that attorneys, judges, and parties to lawsuits will face.
Charles Abbott is a shareholder in the New Orleans office. He practices in the areas of general civil, commercial, toxic tort, and environmental litigation. Mr. Abbott received his J.D. and B.C.L.S. from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2002, and his B.A., cum laude, from Millsaps College in 1999.
