NEY J. GEHMAN is an associate with Abbott, Simses & Kuchler and works in the Firm’s New Orleans office. He graduated from Loyola University in New Orleans in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. He attended New England School of Law in Boston and earned his Juris Doctor degree in 1999.

Mr. Gehman practices in the areas of Toxic Tort Litigation with a focus on Premises Liability, Products Liability and General Civil Litigation. He is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Louisiana, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and all Louisiana State Courts. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, New Orleans Bar Association, Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, New Orleans Association of Defense Counsel, and the Defense Research Institute.

Mr. Gehman was previously an Assistant District Attorney in New Orleans and was responsible for the prosecution of misdemeanor and felony cases. Subsequently, he was employed in private practice in the areas of Toxic Tort, Product Liability, Contractor Liability, and Insurance Defense. He is a native of New Orleans, where he continues to live with his wife and two young children.
