MICHELE HALE DESHAZO is an associate with Abbott, Simses & Kuchler at the Firm's New Orleans office. Ms. DeShazo completed her undergraduate education at the Honors College at Florida State University, where she majored in Political Science. In 2005, she received her Juris Doctorate and Bachelor of Civil Law from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University.  During law school, Ms. DeShazo was a member of the Legal Association for Women and volunteered as a career skills teacher for women enrolled in G.E.D. preparation classes.

Ms. DeShazo is admitted to practice in all Louisiana State Courts and the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana. She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, American Bar Association, Covington Bar Association, and Federal Bar Association.

She currently practices in the areas of Toxic Tort Litigation, Products Liability, and General Civil Litigation. Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. DeShazo practiced predominantly in the areas of Toxic Tort Litigation, General Civil Litigation, and Transportation Law.

Ms. DeShazo resides with her husband in Covington, Louisiana. Her interests include reading and traveling.
