ERNEST G. FOUNDAS is an associate with the law firm of Abbott, Simses & Kuchler. Mr. Foundas graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Finance in 1990. He attended Mississippi College School of Law, earning his Juris Doctorate in 1995. Thereafter, he received an LL.M. in Taxation from Villanova University School of Law in 1996.

Mr. Foundas practices in the areas of Taxation, Toxic Tort, Environmental Law, Entity Formation, Business Planning, Land Use, and General Civil Litigation. He is licensed to practice in Louisiana and Pennsylvania State and Federal Courts.

Prior to joining Abbott, Simses & Kuchler, Mr. Foundas was a tax and business consultant for Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP in New York City. His duties included the representation of entities and high net worth individuals in business planning and tax audit and appeal matters. He also served as Assistant City Solicitor in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania functioning as lead counsel for tax collection matters and represented the Revenue Department in major tax audit hearings and appeals. Additionally, he has had extensive involvement in tax litigation, policy planning organizations, lecturing, and the implementation of municipal administrative reform.

Mr. Foundas was born and raised in New Orleans and has lived in Boston, Massachusetts, Jackson, Mississippi, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and New York City.
