Byron Kitchens is a shareholder with Abbott, Simses & Kuchler and works in the Firm’s New Orleans office. Mr. Kitchens graduated from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 1994 obtaining his Bachelor of Arts. 

Mr. Kitchens received his Juris Doctorate from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University in 1997. 

Mr. Kitchens is admitted to the Louisiana State Bar, as well as to the United States District Court for the Western, Middle and Eastern Districts of Louisiana and the Western and Eastern Districts of Arkansas and the United States Courts of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association.

Mr. Kitchens’ practice areas include Commercial Litigation, Insurance, Intellectual Property, Products Liability, Medical Malpractice and General Civil Litigation.

Prior to joining Abbott, Simses & Kuchler, Mr. Kitchens maintained an active litigation practice including areas of Medical Malpractice Litigation, Products Liability and General Civil Litigation.

Mr. Kitchens is originally from Monroe, Louisiana, and now resides in Mandeville with his wife, Ceres, and children, Peyton and Augustus.
